Travel Channel stops over in big cities

Travel Channel in the US has greenlit a new 10-part series joining celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain on a whirlwind tour of the world’s biggest cities.

Zero Point Zero has been commissioned to produce The Layover (10×60′), which will premiere in the autumn.

In the programme, Bourdain is given just 48 hours in cities around the world to show viewers the essential ‘must see’ places and deliver tips only a seasoned traveller would know.

Chris Collins, Lydia Tenaglia and Anthony Bourdain will serve as executive producers for Zero Point Zero, and Stone Roberts will executive produce for Travel Channel.

The Scripps Networks-owned cablenet previously worked with Zero Point Zero and Bourdain on Emmy-winning series No Reservations, which is now in its seventh season.
