Trailers for comedy duo released by Fox

UPFRONTS: Fox has given a sneak peek of two of its new comedies for next season: new Sunday night animated series Bless the Harts and midseason live-action comedy Outmatched.

Fox is adding its latest animated comedy, Bless the Harts, to its Sunday night line-up. The toon will air at 20.30, moving Bob’s Burgers and Family Guy back 30 minutes in the schedule.

The comedy, from Emmy winner Emily Spivey (The Last Man on Earth, Parks & Recreation, Saturday Night Live), features the voices of Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Jillian Bell. It follows a Southern family that is always broke and forever struggling to make ends meet.

Comedies making their bow in midseason include Outmatched, starring Jason Biggs and Maggie Lawson. From writer/executive producer Lon Zimmet (LA to Vegas), this is a multi-camera family comedy about a blue-collar couple in Atlantic City trying to raise four kids, three of whom are certified geniuses.

Other comedies debuting midseason include Amy Poehler’s animated series Duncanville. The Great North, an animated comedy from Emmy winner Loren Bouchard, will also appear in 2020.
