Trading Spaces exec journeys to Jupiter

US-based Jupiter Entertainment has struck an overall coproduction deal with the producer behind TLC’s Trading Spaces and his banner Two Fifteen West Entertainment.

Chris Deaux

LA-based Chris Deaux will create, develop and produce unscripted programming for the US and international markets with Jupiter, working with the latter’s New York-based president Allison Wallach.

Deaux has been in the TV business for more than two decades and has developed and created a string of formats, gameshows, docuseries and premium documentaries, including The Rap Game (Lifetime), Atlanta Plastic (Lifetime), Hogs Gone Wild (Discovery) and Married with Secrets (ID).

His most recent feature documentary, The Last Western, was an official opening-night selection at Austin festival South by Southwest.

Deaux, who founded Two Fifteen West in 2016, said Jupiter’s “incredible infrastructure is the perfect fit as we continue to ramp up production, bringing our slate to series.”

Wallach added that Deaux would “be a huge asset as we continue to diversify our development portfolio and grow our slate of talent-led projects.”

Jupiter recently produced the 400th episode of crime format Snapped for Oxygen in the US, while its show Atlanta Child Murders with Will Packer debuts on ID later this month.
