Toonz links with OTTera for OTT platform

India-based kids’ prodco Toonz Media Group has partnered with digital content distribution company OTTera in LA for its new OTT platform.

Under the partnership, OTTera will host and provide the tech support for Toonz’s OTT channel. It will also distribute the Toonz library across multiple VoD platforms.

The new OTT service will include around 1,500 half-hours of movies and series for kids and families.

“This is the first time that Toonz is venturing into the space of white-labelled OTTs and it is crucial for us to have a very strong technology partner in this venture,” said P Jayakumar, CEO of Toonz Media Group.
