TNT Serie, Sat.1 trust CBS’s Instinct

German free-to-air and pay TV networks have picked up rights to CBS’s mid-season drama Instinct.

The show will premiere in Germany on Turner Broadcasting System’s pay TV channel TNT Serie on May 23, followed by its FTA premiere on ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s Sat.1 Television.

Instinct is produced by CBS Television Studios and is based on the James Patterson and Howard Roughan book Murder Games, following a former CIA operative who helps track down a serial killer.

The drama, sold by CBS Studios International, debuted on CBS in the US on March 18 and was averaging 10.7 million viewers after three episodes, according to the US broadcaster.
