TLC orders more Marsh docs

TLC in the UK has commissioned two one-off documentary specials in which glamour model turned presenter Jodie Marsh will investigate virginity and cheating men.

Jodie Marsh On… Virgins (1×60′) and Jodie Marsh On… Lying Cheating Men (1×60′) will air on TLC alongside previously commissioned docs fronted by Marsh on plastic surgery and mail order brides.

The Jodie Marsh On… series is produced by UK indie Knickerbockerglory and the new episodes will air on TLC in the UK and across Benelux later in the year.

“Jodie’s one-off documentaries have really resonated with viewers so it’s fantastic to be able to bring them a strong four-part series,” said Sarah Thornton, VP of production and development for factual entertainment at TLC’s parent company Discovery Networks International (DNI).

Female-skewing lifestyle net TLC made its UK bow in April last year mixing programming for the US channel such as Here Comes Honey Boo Boo with original, local commissions.
