TF1 ties the knot for Armoza’s Marry Me Now

Reservoir Prod will produce the French version of Marry Me Now

French commercial broadcaster TF1 has commissioned a local version of Armoza’s Marry Me Now format.

The docu-reality show, originally produced by Armoza Formats and Zipi Rozenblum, gives women who have been waiting for their partner to pop the question the chance to plan their wedding and then challenge him to marry her on the spot.

The French version will begin airing on August 10 and will be produced by Lagardère Studios-owned Reservoir Prod, with French TV personality Karine Ferri secured as host.

The news comes after M-Net ordered a local version for its 1 Magic network that will begin airing in the 46 countries of sub-Saharan Africa in November.
