Temple’s Hamilton joins Peace Point

Canadian production outfit Peace Point Entertainment has appointed a Temple Street Productions executive as its VP of creative and development.

In her new role, Nicole Hamilton will oversee Peace Point’s global creative strategy, including the firm’s Toronto-based development team and its development activities in Los Angeles and New York.

She will also work closely with Peace Point Rights, the company’s international division, to maximise co-production opportunities and international partnerships.

While at rival prodco Temple Street, Hamilton was senior director of factual entertainment, where she oversaw factual production and development slates with series such as Say Yes to the Dress Canada (W Network) and Recipe to Riches (CBC).

Meanwhile, Julie Chang has been promoted to senior VP of business affairs and acquisitions and Eric Mueller to senior VP of international sales and acquisitions, both at Peace Point Rights.
