Televisa takes two from Keshet

Mythological Ex will air on Las Estrellas

Mexican free-to-air broadcaster Televisa is to adapt two scripted formats from Israeli producer and distributor Keshet International (KI), including a drama about ex-lovers.

Mythological Ex (13×30’) is based on the Israeli series created and written by Segahi Avin. The show centres on a woman’s search for her future husband, having been told that she has already dated him.

It will premiere later this year in a late-night comedy slot on Televisa’s flagship channel, Las Estrellas.

The A Word (41×60’), meanwhile, is a drama focusing on a family’s journey after their five-year-old son is diagnosed with autism.

Based on Israel’s Yellow Peppers, which was created, written and directed by Keren Margalit, the UK adaptation of the series has run to two seasons on BBC1 and has sold to several other international territories.
