Televisa lines up local Deal With It!

Keshet 12 is reviving Deal With It! in Israel after six years

Mexican broadcaster Televisa is lining up a local version of Israeli hidden-camera gameshow Deal With It!, through a deal with distributor Keshet International.

Televisa will produce 30×120’ episodes for its free-to-air Mexican network Canal 5. Known locally as Vas Con Todo, the new series will premiere in the first quarter of 2020.

The show is also being revived back home, with Keshet 12 bringing back the format after a hiatus of six years. United Studios of Israel will produce 10×60’ episodes.

The show sees ordinary people meeting someone for a coffee or a meal, or checking into a hotel, at which point they’re asked to participate in a game for a chance to win a cash prize.

Players could find themselves quoting Shakespeare, dancing and singing on the table, even kissing total strangers.

The show has been sold into 22 territories to date including TBS in the US, Record TV in Brazil and W in Canada. Italy’s Nove and Slovenia’s Planet TV have recently struck deals for their own versions.
