The Turkish version of Mother

NEWS BRIEF: Swedish public broadcaster has acquired drama series Mother from Scandi distributor Eccho Rights for its 19.30 daily Turkish drama slot on SVT2.

The drama is based on Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV’s series of the same name and was remade by Medyapim in Turkey for Star TV. The plot follows a teacher who helps a young student escape suffering at home.
