SundanceTV preps classics block

M*A*S*H first aired in 1972

SundanceTV in the US is launching a daytime programming block featuring classic programmes M*A*S*H, All in the Family and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

The block, titled The Set, will air weekdays from 06.00 to 13.00 (ET) beginning Monday November 7.

The three series, along with The Bob Newhart Show and The Andy Griffith Show, will air each day with back-to-back episodes in chronological order, starting with their pilots.

SundanceTV will also air a 48-hour marathon of M*A*S*H, beginning November 6.

“Just as we’ve turned Wednesday nights into the showcase for SundanceTV originals, we want to turn our daytime weekdays into a celebration of some of the most iconic and award-winning shows in TV history,” said Jan Diedrichsen, executive director of SundanceTV.
