Sundance Now hears The Secret She Keeps

Australian psychological noir series The Secrets She Keeps

AMC Networks’ streaming service Sundance Now has picked up the US rights to Australian drama The Secret She Keeps from DCD Rights.

Starring Laura Carmichael (Downton Abbey), Jessica de Gouw (The Crown) and Michael Dorman (Patriot), The Secret She Keeps is a six-part contemporary noir thriller based on the novel by Michael Robotham.

The story follows two women who have a chance encounter in a supermarket in an affluent Sydney suburb. They are the same age and both heavily pregnant but lead very different lives. Both women have secrets and will risk everything to conceal the truth, until their worlds collide in one shocking act that cannot be undone.

The Secret She Keeps is produced by Lingo Pictures Production for Network Ten in Australia and written by Sarah Walker (Home & Away, A Place to Call Home) and Jonathan Gavin (Offspring, A Beautiful Lie). It will premiere on Sundance Now this summer.

Shannon Cooper, VP of programming at Sundance Now, said: “With its suspenseful, dark and twisty script and a stellar cast led by Laura Carmichael and Jessica de Gouw, The Secrets She Keeps is sure to be another can’t-miss drama for our subscribers.”
