Studio71 elevates Boorstin

Red Arrow Studios-owned prodco Studio71 has promoted Adam Boorstin to chief operating officer with immediate effect.

In his new role, Boorstin will oversee the company’s operations and strategy, reporting to global CEO Reza Izad.

Boorstin was previously chief business officer, running a number of business development initiatives including Studio71’s acquisition of more than 50 OTT apps in 2019.

The company says it is targeting further expansion of its TV apps, YouTube channels, Facebook pages and Podcasts in 2020.

Prior to Studio71, Boorstin spent three years as head of partnerships at BuzzFeed Motion Pictures. In 2015, he was hired by Studio71 as executive VP of distribution.
