Studio Lambert ups O’Driscoll, Burgess

All3Media-backed Studio Lambert has promoted a UK executive to work on development in LA and elevated another to replace him in London.

Niall O’Driscoll

Jack Burgess is becoming senior VP of development and current in Los Angeles while Niall O’Driscoll takes his place as head of UK unscripted development.

O’Driscoll is a senior executive in the London development team and has been with Studio Lambert since 2014. He worked on the development of Tattoo Fixers, Big Life Fix and Naked Attraction as well as Buy It Now for Channel 4, Top of the Shop with Tom Kerridge for BBC2 and Nightmare Pets SOS for BBC1, which all launch this week.

As head of UK unscripted development, he will continue the company’s strategy of developing returning formats across all UK broadcasters, reporting to creative director Tim Harcourt. He takes up the position with immediate effect.

Burgess will now lead the company’s US unscripted development strategy, reporting to Greg Goldman, president of Studio Lambert in America. He will also continue to report to Harcourt to maximise collaboration between the UK and US unscripted development teams.

Studio Lambert launched 10 years ago, initially as an unscripted production company. In 2016, it launched a scripted division which is currently in production on the first season of The Feed, an Amazon- and Liberty Global-funded series created by Walking Dead producer Channing Powell.

The company also produced the critically acclaimed Three Girls, which was recently nominated for six Bafta Awards, in association with BBC Studios.
