Studio Lambert promotes, hires

All3Media-owned UK production company Studio Lambert has promoted one exec and hired another from rival Mammoth Screen to bolster its drama department.

Maddie Sinclair

Maddie Sinclair is being upped from head of development to executive producer while James Gandhi is joining the London-based firm from Mammoth as head of development.

Sinclair joined Studio Lambert in 2016 from BBC Studios where she worked as a development producer and script editor across a range of dramas, including the Emmy-nominated series Luther and the Bafta-nominated The C Word.

Gandhi was a script editor at Mammoth Screen working on Fearless and Vanity Fair for ITV and The City & the City and Noughts & Crosses for the BBC.

Studio Lambert is about to start shooting Nicole Taylor-penned five-part thriller The Nest in Scotland for BBC1. The story follows an affluent Glaswegian couple and their relationship with the young woman whom they want to be a surrogate for their child.

The company’s 10-episode sci-fi series The Feed, starring Guy Burnet, Nina Toussaint-White, Michelle Fairley and David Thewlis, will premiere on Virgin Media this autumn and will be released in the US on Amazon Prime.

Today’s appointment announcements follow the news earlier this month that Sara Murray, who had been executive producer on The Feed, has left to join All3Media stablemate Raw TV.
