Strix taps formats veteran Dijkema

Strix Benelux, part of MTG’s Nice Entertainment Group, has appointed a new CEO following the recent departure of Roy Aalderink.

Vincent Dijkema has been appointed CEO of the production company having been the co-creator behind shows such as The Voice, The Voice Kids and I Love My Country.

Dijkema will join Strix on January 1 after a stint at ProSiebenSat.1 Group-owned German network Sat.1. Prior to that, Dijkema worked at Talpa in the Netherlands, set up Dutch firm Screenyard TV and spent six years at All3Media-owned IDTV.

Strix Benelux produces non-scripted and scripted content in the Dutch and Flemish markets, including the local version of Survivor for RTL5 whilst developing its own shows such as Crime Master, Living Stone and Ugly Ducklings.

“Being a creative I certainly want to add new, great formats and programmes to our portfolio and continue to invest in the outstanding relationship with our clients,” said Dijkema.
