Strip N’ Rip rides into Oz, Europe

Broadcasters in Australia, New Zealand and Europe have picked up motoring show Strip N’ Rip from Canadian distributor Proper Rights.

Strip N’ Rip (Vegas Rat Rods), from Proper Television, follows master fabricator Steve Darnell through the world of rat-rodding, where classic cars are resurrected with a twist. The show was originally produced for Discovery in the US.

Following MipTV last week, Seven Networks in Australia has acquired the first 8×60’ season of the show while the second (10×60’) was purchased by Foxtel for A&E in Australia and New Zealand.

In Europe, Discovery secured the show’s second run for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa for its Turbo Extra channel.
