StarHub, Rewind prep network

Singaporean cable TV provider StarHub and fledgling entertainment firm Rewind Networks are launching a new channel with content from CBS Studios, NBCUniversal and 20th Century Fox.

HITS will start broadcasting in Singapore on December 9, before being rolled out across South-East Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Shows on its slate include dramas such as Criminal Minds, Lost and Golden Girls.

The network will also air classic comedies Cheers and Seinfeld, as well as a range of US dramas, such as Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order and Star Trek – The Next Generation.

The channel will also be available via mobile service StarHub TV Anywhere, with on-demand service HITS Replay also planned for 2014, allowing viewers to binge view on a selection of HITS shows.
