Sprout uncovers Lost & Found

Sprout will air the Lost & Found special this Christmas

US children’s network Sprout has acquired Bafta-winning cartoon Lost & Found from distributor Entertainment One.

The NBCUniversal-owned channel will air the 30-minute special during the Christmas period.

The film was produced by UK-based Studio AKA and tells the story of a boy who finds a penguin on his doorstep and then attempts to help it get back to its home at the South Pole.

It is based on the best-selling children’s book of the same name by Oliver Jeffers and is narrated by actor Jim Broadbent, with music from composer Max Richter.
