SPI Filmbox carried into Bulgaria

NEM: Bulgarian telecoms provider Vivacom is set to carry six SPI Filmbox channels on its DTH and IPTV platforms.

The move results from a multi-year distribution deal with Poland-based broadcaster and distributor SPI International.

The package will consist of movie channels FilmBox Plus and FilmBox Extra HD, documentary channel DocuBox HD, FightBox HD, extreme sports net Fast&FunBox HD and Eroxxx HD.

“As we are committed to growing our presence in Bulgaria we are glad that our channels will reach new viewers through Vivacom’s DTH and IPTV services,” said Berk Uziyel, executive director for Filmbox International. “In addition to our linear channels, Vivacom’s customers will be able to enjoy our content on-demand.”

SPI International has been operating channels in Bulgaria since 2011.
