Netflix
Riegg joined Netflix in November 2016 to help create and manage the company’s first push into original unscripted content. His team has quickly established Netflix as a home for critically acclaimed and beloved series such as Queer Eye, Nailed It!, Selling Sunset, Love is Blind, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, and Bling Empire, among many others. He now also oversees the team responsible for Netflix’s vast and diverse slate of original documentary series such as Chef’s Table, Cheer, Last Chance U, Crime Scene, Harry & Meghan, and The Last Dance. In 2020, Riegg was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business. Prior to Netflix, Riegg was Senior Vice President and co-head of NBC’s alternative programming department, responsible for notable series The Voice, America’s Got Talent, American Ninja Warrior, The Biggest Loser and Hollywood Game Night. In 2011, he was featured on he Hollywood reporter’s 18th annual next gen list. Before NBC, Riegg was the executive director of alternative series & specials at ABC, where he oversaw development, production and on-air current programming for series, including Dancing with the Stars, Wife Swap and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He also developed Wipeout, Shaq Vs. and I Survived a Japanese Game Show.
