Spanish, Vietnamese nets love their country

The original UK version of I Love My Country

Spanish pubcaster RTVE and Vietnam’s HTV have acquired entertainment format I Love My Country from ITV Studios.

Originally produced for BBC1 in the UK, the comedy panel competition series sees two celebrity teams battle it out to see who knows their country best.

The Spanish adaptation of the format will be produced by Endemol Shine Iberia, while the Vietnamese version is due to be produced by Dong Tay Promotions Company. The two latest acquisitions bring the total number of international adaptations of the format to 36.

Additionally, Portuguese broadcaster RTP has ordered a second season of the series. The show is currently running its 12th season in Hungary, its ninth in Slovakia and its eighth in the Czech Republic.
