Space renews bounty hunter sci-fi

Cameras roll on the new run of Killjoys in Toronto this winter

Canadian sci-fi channel Space has renewed adventure drama Killjoys, from Orphan Black producer Temple Street Productions, for a third season.

Killjoys follows a trio of interplanetary bounty hunters as they chase fugitives through a distant star system on the brink of war. It is Space’s most watched original series to date, according to the channel.

Production on the third run will begin in Toronto this winter and the 10 episodes are scheduled to be part of Space’s summer line-up in 2017.

The series was created by showrunner Michelle Lovretta and is produced by Temple Street in association with Space and US cablenet Syfy.
