Sony to play Hide & Seek in Germany

Hide & Seek debuted on ICTV Ukraine and OKKO Russia

Sony Pictures Entertainment in Germany has picked up Ukrainian crime drama Hide & Seek for its Sony Channel.

The show was filmed in Ukraine and follows two detectives battling their own demons to track down the kidnapper of children who disappear from a small industrial town.

The 8×50’ series was originally aired by ICTV Ukraine and OKKO Russia and produced by local prodco Film.UA Group.

Germany’s ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) and has already sealed deals for the series with Walter Presents (US and Canada), Rai (Italy), FTV Prima (Czech Republic), Canal+ (Poland), ETV (Estonia) and LRT (Lithuania) and Lumière (Benelux).

The Sony agreement was negotiated by Sebastian Krekeler, director of ZDFE.drama at ZDFE, while Mirela Nastase, director ZDFE.drama, secured the distribution rights with production company Film.UA.
