Sony signs up L.A.’s Finest duo

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has agreed an overall deal with Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier, the showrunners behind its forthcoming drama L.A.’s Finest.

The two-year arrangement will see Margolis and Sonnier develop projects for all platforms for the studio and continue as co-showrunners on L.A.’s Finest, the spin-off from the Bad Boys movies, which is being produced by SPT.

The show is the first to have been commissioned by US media giant Charter Communications. It stars and is being executive produced by Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.
