SNI motorbike show rides into Balkans

Scripps Networks UK and EMEA has commissioned a 13th season of World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides for its Travel Channel in Europe.

World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides – Balkans (5×60’), produced by London-based indie HCA Entertainment, will air on Travel Channel in the UK and EMEA in the first quarter of next year.

The show will be fronted by Henry Cole, a war cameraman who covered the Balkan conflict during the 1990s. His 2000km journey will take him through Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and finally into Serbia.

World’s Greatest Motorcycle Rides launched on Travel Channel in 2006 and has visited South Africa, Australia, Germany, America and the UK.

The latest instalment was commissioned by Nick Thorogood, senior VP for content and marketing at SNI, and Gareth Williams, VP of commissioning for SNI in the UK and EMEA. Henry Cole and Hamish Rieck are the executive producers.
