Super Combat Teams comes from China’s Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, where it became the highest-rating talent show on Jiangsu Satellite Channel with 96 million viewers, according to Small World IFT.

The format sees various world champions and record holders compete in challenges and stunts, while viewers at home are asked to guess the result of each challenge in real time via an interactive platform.

With cash prizes up for grabs for those who predict the correct winners, the average number of audience members participating in China reached 15 million per episode and 200 million in total across the series, Small World IFT said.

Small World IFT holds distribution rights to Super Combat Teams worldwide, excluding Germany and Nordic territories, , where it has already been taken by Tresor TV Produktions GMBH (Germany) and Nice Entertainment Group (Nordics).

Tim Crescenti, president at Small World IFT, said: “It may be a big studio show, but we’re also ensuring it is scalable by offering international broadcasters a turnkey production hub. Bottom line: Super Combat Teams offers good, clean fun and entertainment for all the family.”
