Sky preps sci-fi pop-up channel

NEWS BRIEF: UK pay TV operator Sky is launching a pop-up channel dedicated to sci-fi programming that will also offer the entire Star Wars series.

Sky-Fi will run from September 9 until October 8, offering Sky Cinema viewers films including The Force Awakens and Rogue One alongside all 10 original Star Trek movies. Close Encounters of The Third Kind, Minority Report and James Cameron’s The Terminator will also be available.
