Shudder switches on Channel Zero

AMC Networks has acquired the exclusive streaming rights to horror series Channel Zero from Universal Cable Productions (UCP) for its US SVoD service Shudder.

Created by Nick Antosca and produced by UCP, each six-episode instalment of Channel Zero, which airs on US cablenet Syfy, features a new cast, director and story arc.

The first instalment will arrive on Shudder on August 9, followed by the second in September, the third in October and the fourth in 2019.

Craig Engler, general manager of Shudder, described the series as “one of the best horror shows of the last decade.”
