Showtime keeps Kidding with Carrey

Jim Carrey stars in and exec produces Kidding

US network Showtime has extended its Jim Carrey comedy Kidding with a 10-part second season order before its first run has finished airing.

The show was created by Dave Holstein and follows a children’s TV presenter who attempts to pursue his career while his family life falls apart.

Holstein is attached as showrunner, with Carrey and Michel Gondry exec producing.

Carrey’s other Showtime series I’m Dying Up Here was cancelled last month after airing for one season.
