Kelly Webb-Lamb joined Shine TV as creative director in 2012 before becoming MD the following year.

She will work on a transition with the company’s senior team before stepping down. New leadership for the company will be announced in due course.

The move follows the merger of Endemol, Shine Group and Core Media last year.

During her time in charge, Webb-Lamb has overseen a slate that includes Channel 4 adventure formats The Island with Bear Grylls and Hunted, as well as BBC1 documentary series All Change at Longleat and Sky1’s The Force: Manchester.

She was previously director of factual programmes at Princess Productions, rising to become MD in 2013.

“I am hugely proud of what has been achieved, with a healthy slate including award-winning returning formats, a development pipeline with huge promise and a truly exceptional team in place to take this forward,” said Webb-Lamb.

“So I believe I can now leave this on a high and take a break before seeing what the future holds. I wish Shine TV and the wider team at Endemol Shine all the best for what I’m sure will be a bright future.”

Richard Johnston, CEO of Endemol Shine UK, said Webb-Lamb had led the company through an “outstanding period.”

“She leaves Shine TV with our great thanks and in formidable shape to be taken forward by new leadership next year,” he added. “We will all take the time over the next few months to explore who and what form this could best take. In the meantime, we wish Kelly the very best for whichever challenge she chooses to undertake next.”
