SF Studios sets Hunters on C More

Bonnier-owned Nordic streaming service C More has ordered a six-part thriller inspired by two Swedish movies.

The Hunters is being produced by Bonnier sibling SF Studios and is based on Swedish features Jägarna (The Hunters) and Jägarna II.

The show explores corruption in a small town and has been slated to air in 2018. It is being written by Björn Carlström, who was behind the movies, and will be directed by Jens Jonsson.

SF Studios, whose CEO was removed from his post last year following allegations of sexism and improper conduct, is also behind shows including Alex for MTG-owned streamer Viaplay.

The thriller follows a corrupt cop who attempts to leave the underworld behind him and will premiere exclusively on Viaplay in 2018.
