Señal Colombia picks Mondo TV toons

Mondo TV’s CGI comedy adventure Invention Story

Colombian broadcaster Señal Colombia has acquired two animated series from Mondo TV Iberoamerica, part of European producer and distributor Mondo TV.

Invention Story (52×11′) and The Treasure Island (26×26′) will air towards the end of 2020 after Señal Colombia took exclusive rights to the shows in the country for the next two years

3D CGI comedy adventure Invention Story follows a creative fox who, in each episode, comes up with an amazing new invention that impresses most of the rabbit residents of his adopted home of Carrot Town, but inspires jealousy in a few.

Mondo TV, which coproduced the series with York Animation, said the show encourages young audiences to find out more about science and how it works.

3D CGI adventure series The Treasure Island, meanwhile, is inspired by the Robert Louis Stevenson classic and is a coproduction from Mondo TV and Rai Fiction in Italy.
