See-Saw builds up UK team

CONTENT LONDON: UK-, US- and Australia-based prodco See-Saw Films has boosted its UK division by hiring a new executive producer.

Elinor Day

Elinor Day will oversee See-Saw’s existing slate and develop new projects.

Day has a number of credits as an independent producer and most recently produced critically acclaimed series Killing Eve and Responsible Child.

Previously Day also worked on projects including Channel 4 short film Coming Up and My Mad Fat Diary, season four of Secret Diary of a Call Girl for ITV2 and BBC2’s White Heat.

Jamie Laurenson, See-Saw’s head of television, and Hakan Kousetta, chief operating officer, said: “We are thrilled to have Elinor join the See-Saw team, especially as we continue expanding our television slate in the UK. Her breadth of experience and extensive industry knowledge will undoubtedly make her an extraordinary asset to our growing television division. We are delighted to have her on board.”

See-Saw is currently in production on dramas The North Water, starring Jack O’Connell, for BBC2 and Slow Horses, starring Gary Oldman and written by Will Smith, for Apple TV +.
