The firm’s programme sales and distribution division was launched this month and is led by VP of international programme licensing and distribution Hud Woodle.

Scripps’ slate includes Scott Sternberg Productions’ home renovation series The Shatner Project (6×30′), which was made for DIY Network and features TV actor William Shatner as a project manager, and alligator farming show Growing Up Gator (6×30′), made by 2C Media for Great American Country.

DIY Network’s restoration series Salvage Dawgs (52×30′), from Trailblazer Studios, follows the work of a salvage company on condemned homes, while Leopard Films’ House Hunters International: Where Are They Now? (10×30′) is a spin-off from the House Hunters franchise.

Scripps’ culinary programming includes Restaurant Redemption (26×30′), produced by Lion TV for Cooking Channel, which follows attempts to revitalise struggling Asian restaurants. Travel shows such as Hotel Amazon (6×60′), from Crazy Legs Productions, and Indigo Films’ Mega Mansions (6×30′) are also on the slate.

SNI’s new distribution arm means its exclusive programme sales partnership with UK-based Passion Distribution will end in March 2015. Passion will, however, be shopping SNI titles at Mipcom next month and will continue to represent certain SNI titles until September 2016.
