Based on a true story, inspired by the capture of Russia’s most prolific and brutal serial killer “the maniac of Angarsk”, A Good Man looks at everyday violence in quiet suburbia. The protagonist is a police officer and a security guard, keen to uphold the law, protect people and his town. His methods are deadly. It takes almost a decade to reveal him as a mass murderer, who preyed on over 80 young women in and around Angarsk.

An anthology style drama series looking at relationships during a pandemic ‘lockdown’. Each episode looks at a different relationship with a different story, some positive and some less so. Isolation doesn’t necessarily mean being alone.

This warm, comedy drama centres around Vera Sweet, a long-suffering housewife and mother with a gift for making delicious confectionery. Her whole family takes her for granted but when she catches her husband cheating, it’s the last straw! Determined to make ends meet and relishing her new independence, Vera starts her own confectionery business, but soon realises she needs help and enlists her elderly dad, teenage daughter and cranky sister with mixed results.
