Its international slate is comprised mostly of Christmas movies, “event” Telefilms and Rom/Coms which are airing on such US networks as Hallmark, Lifetime, ION, GAC and OWN. Tesera provides content and is a direct supplier to all the major SVOD, AVOD and FAST streaming services in the USA including Tubi, Peacock, Pluto, Roku, freevee, Samsung, Vizio and many others.
Many have asked the origin of the name Tesera. Tesera represents the number 4 in Greek (homage to the number of children Gene has) and it is also the Italian word for a single mosaic tile. Symbolically, Tesera represents a single piece within a beautiful piece of art, but not complete or in its full glory and beauty without its inclusion. Gene relates this to the company’s importance in the worldwide distribution business.
