The Guild of Automotive Restorers is overflowing with cars, from small fixes to restoration to full rebuilds - and everything in between. With there not being enough mechanics at the garage to keep everything moving along, David realizes he might have to get his hands dirty.

Brad works to restore a 1925 fire truck that has been in storage for a few decades. It belongs to a fire station in a small historical town, and with Brad being a volunteer firefighter the truck holds a special place in his heart. Ron is trying to get a 1930 Dodge Truck up and running, and Larry brings his 1957 convertible Mercedes to the garage for a bit of work. A Land Rover arrives belonging to the deceased environmentalist film maker, Rob Stewart, who drowned while filming his last project. Rob’s parents want to restore the vehicle and use it to pull a 17-foot shark as part of their son’s shark protection foundation.

David has a couple of new fascinating projects he brings into the garage. One is off his bucketlist – a belly tank racer. His plan is to remodel it into a road-ready Buck Rogers spaceship.

This season’s Restoration Garage gets more behind-the-scenes and personal with both its customers and mechanics. We follow car lovers from their collections at home to the work at the Guild, and we also explore some fascinating collections. Including Tim “Hapi Hipi” Schmidt’s incredible selection of cars both vintage and ultra modern.
