"U-Turn" sets out to turn eight pill addicts into eight fit, pill-free individuals through the simple remedies of diet and exercise. Led on by a charismatic health expert, the participants will endure six months, 10 programmes, a gruelling five-week hike in the Pyrenees, not to mention sweat, tears and tantrums, in the attempt to turn their lives around.
But can healthy food and exercise really replace the pills? And can a permanent decease be permanently cured?
