Blankety Blank is an hilarious quiz gameshow.Two contestants battle to match minds with six celebrity guest, when they fill in the missing word from a funny phrase presented to them by the host. Through the ‘Super Match’ and ‘Tie Break’ players try and find the celebrity who matches their choice of answer. Lots of humour and banter come out of the mismatches and double-entendres making this a great celebrity vehicle. Bradley Walsh is one of Britain’s best and most famous television hosts, his infectious personality, warmth and quick wit have seen him span the decades presenting iconic British shows. Alongside ITV’s The Chase, Bradley currently presents Blankety Blank, Fremantle’s classic gameshow format, which was established in 1979 and sees six celebrities help contestants fill the missing blanks to win exciting prizes. Walsh was entrusted to take over the iconic format from former host Paul O'Grady, who in turn helmed the quiz show's '90s revival and before that, Les Dawson and Sir Terry Wogan presented. It was recently announced that Blankety Blank will return to BBC for a second series, further proving that Walsh’s Midas touch is in full effect.
