A Unicorn for Christmas is a heartwarming family holiday movie starring Abby James Witherspoon (Reese Witherspoon’s talented niece) as Izzy, a city girl who begrudgingly moves to the country with her family in the weeks before Christmas.
Izzy’s parents convince her and her brother to help them out at their local Christmas market, putting the kids in charge of running the family the petting zoo. While her parents struggle to make their new business a success, Izzy meets a small white pony named Snowflake and is convinced that the horse is a real unicorn, but she seems to be the only person who can see Snowflake’s glowing horn and magical powers.
When Snowflake becomes a big hit at the local Christmas carnival, the Scrooge-like carnival owner, Horace—played by TV legend Ed Marinaro—decides to cash in on Snowflake’s popularity and steals her away. Despite their initial skepticism, Izzy’s parents find themselves caught up in the wonder of Izzy’s belief, and they come together as a family just in time to save Snowflake, who, it turns out, is 100% a real unicorn!
