FormatEast is a 100% subsidiary company of SBS, founded in December 2018 to create more business opportunities, expand the market for Korean creators, and become a Hub of Format IP Development and Distribution.

(For 4 consecutive years, we have been running “FormatEast Creative Lab”, as an official operating company of KOCCA and have developed a great number of paper formats covering all kinds of genres. Some of them are 'Lotto Singer', optioned by Fox Alternative Entertainment, and 'DNA Singer', with its global distribution rights outside Asia licensed to Fremantle.)
