The Outrageously Fabulous World of Terry Logan

Book a ride bitches!

Synopsis:
The Outrageously Fabulous World of Terry Logan (Tama Films, Australia) is an eight-episode hero’s journey to authenticity that charts the irrepressible and indefatigable life of one Terry Logan - a fourteen-year-old gifted satirist in an all queer, no-higher-stakes-than-a-kiss, young adult, outrageously fabulous world!

Terry lives his life “out” and so he knows what it’s like to be bullied. At his last school it got so bad he had to leave. But he’s been at this new one for six months and has already made three close fabulous girlfriends. And he takes on their causes and makes them his own – not always successfully!

Terry dreams big. He wants to be taken seriously as an actor’s actor and go to Juilliard. But right now, he can’t even get his school to stage a lousy Lloyd Webber. He wants to change that, which pits him against his antagonists – the school principal and Garren, his (also gay) arch nemesis.

For all Terry’s self-awareness there’s a very big part of him that has no idea who he really is and what he really wants. His outrageous fabulousness is both celebratory costume and protective shield. This can be said for his friends, and his enemies, too.
The tone is comedy/drama that is funny, queer, bold, satiric, and wrapped in an inherently meta framework. Through savvy dialogue, ironic voiceover, and flights of fantasy it’s a show that satirizes young adult tropes and the very conventions of TV series storytelling in a way we’ve rarely seen before.
