Join James Martin’s French Adventure as the TV chef visits the locations that inspired his culinary career, and pays homage to his culinary hero Keith Floyd. Holidaying and studying in France as a teenager, the country was influential in establishing James’s love of food. Hitting the open road on a nostalgiac journey, this series follows James as he retraces the memorable trip his hero Keith Floyd took 30 years ago, while also visiting the places that carved his own culinary beginnings. Exploring and sampling the very best in French cuisine, James’s trip starts in Provence and continues onto Perigord, Burgundy, Alsace, Pays Basque, and Brittany, stopping to produce his own versions of the iconic dishes he finds along the way. In tribute to Keith Floyd, James in Floyd’s very own Citroen 2CV, as he rediscovers the country and the food closest to his and his old friend’s heart.

An action-packed, sun-soaked, food-filled road trip across the USA, James Martin’s American Adventure is the next leg of the celebrated chef’s journey around the world – exploring the food, people, and places that inspire him. Travelling on Harley Davidson bikes, classic cars, pick-up trucks, and super cars, James takes us through the Napa Valley, down the West Coast, slingshots across the great plains of Texas and to in the swamps of the Deep South, before a final leg back up the East Coast and to New York, where he returns to the scene of what he describes as ‘the best meal of his life’. Along with his trusty crew, join James’s voyage of discovery across a country that has beguiled him of all his life, at perhaps one of the most important periods in its history.

The globe-trotting chef finally comes home in James Martin’s Great British Adventure. Climbing into his trusty Mini Cooper, James is joined by many of his famous chef mates as he tours Scotland, Northern Ireland, England and Wales on the hunt for classic dishes and new ideas from a food scene that has undergone a revolution in the last twenty years. While seeking out great food, James also enjoys some traditional British experiences, from falconry to fishing, flying, and even driving a steam train! Enjoy dramatic locations, incredible ingredients, wonderful dishes, great mates, and lots of laughs on the ultimate foodie road trip.

In James Martin’s Islands To Highlands, the celebrated chef travels around the UK, seeking out the best food and local producers, while cooking up some mouth-watering, brand-new recipes on mountain sides, sea shores and beaches. From the Scilly Isles in the South West, up to the Shetland Islands in the North, James takes the fabulous local produce and creates something magical in every place he visits. Accompanying him along the way are some of his pals, which include some of the best chefs in the world: Raymond Blanc, Monica Galetti, and Paul Rankin. James cooks a range of dishes – from delicious seafood in the Scilly Isles and Cornwall, to delightful Welsh lamb in South Wales – truly discovering the very best of British food!
