Having joined New York-based pubcaster WNET from HBO Documentary Films in March, Julie Anderson is preparing a global documentary project, titled Sacred, that will film every festival from every religion around the world in a calendar year.
She told Talking Shop: "There is so much war going on for the sake of religion right now there is a way to put it into a different perspective.
"We’re in the early development stages and have raised US$1m so far. Right now we’re looking for directors of photography who are visually creative and understand the narrative structure of a story. We’re hiring DPs around the world so we can start shooting."
