Presenting Maltese

Iuzzolino recently acquired UK rights to Maltese as Walter Presents’ first Italian-language drama. Together with Rossi Stuart, he explains the appeal of the eight-parter, from German prodco Maze Pictures, which proved a hit at home for Rai and is distributed internationally by ZDF Enterprises.

The pair also talk more broadly about the way the Italian drama market is changing in line with other territories such as Germany and Spain, with Iuzzolino explaining how these dynamics inspired him to set up the VoD service.
