TALKING SHOP: Hans Ulrich Stoef, CEO of German children's media company M4E, tells C21 about the struggles of producing animation in Germany and the "unfair competition" it faces from other EU countries.
The M4E Group is an international brand management and media company for children's and family entertainment content, with productions including series such as Mia and Me, Atchoo! and Tip the Mouse.
Stoef said: "Our top-notch talent is leaving the country because of opportunities from outside the German market. The reality is, as a country, we are only producing 50 hours of animation per year."
