TALKING SHOP: ,C21 caught up with Jill Offman, MD of Comedy Central UK, at C21's Schedule Watch conference in London where she underscored the network's hunt for cutting-edge British comedy to sit alongside its US heavyweights.
Says Offman: "We are absolutely devoted to bringing as many UK-based series in we can find. We love those. Anything we like we'll take."
In this episode, Offman also talks about how the channel has changed since its rebrand from Paramount Comedy, the risk of picking up US sitcom Friends from Channel 4, and what opportunities there are for producers to get their shows on the channel.
