In this episode, BBC4 controller Richard Klein adds that popular foreign drama series, such as Scandinavian titles The Killing, Borgen and Lilyhammer will remain on the channel, while an adaptation of John Braine novel Room at the Top is among the channel's current highlights.
"The focus of the channel will inevitably be slightly more towards music arts and culture but attitudinally I don't want to change. I think it should still be a channel which is propositional, which still seeks to amuse and entertain by discourse, and always be underpinned by authority," he said.
